He then worked for the first time at the Excelsior Vittoria in 2004, for just one season (year).
Chef Antonino then decided to have some more experience abroad, so he moved to Switzerland for a season at Domaine de Châteauvieux à Satigny, working with the two-Michelin starred chef Philippe Chevrier.
In 2005-2006 he came back to Italy to Rome to work at the Cavalieri Hilton La Pergola a 3 -Michelin starred restaurant. His Roman experience then continued at the Hotel de Russie. After which he moved to Ravello to work at Rossellini’s, a 2-Michelin starred restaurant. His career continued with Quattro Passi in Nerano, a 1 Michelin star and finally he was asked to come to the Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento.
Since 2017 Chef Antonino Montefusco has been the Executive Chef of Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria and awarded with a Michelin star.
